Mario Avila is an expert in partnerships and international cooperation for K-12 and higher education. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and his Master’s degree in Social Economics both from the University of Geneva and the ETH in Switzerland. His work and studies have led him to consolidate an international career in LATAM, Europe and North America, these experiences helped him develop an important skillset in intercultural exchange and languages. His professional experience dates back to business development in early in his career Europe. After returning to Mexico in 2014, he took up on University teaching, eventually moving onto to work as Director of International Cooperation and Partnerships for the Federal Ministry of Education (SEP). He has also served as Director for Busienss Development for LATAM for the Scottish University RGU and as Country Director for ETS TOEFL Mexico. He currently resides in Mexico City where he works as LATAM Director for Bestschools Company and CEO of Eduhub.
