FIID TALKS son una plataforma para la difusión de conocimiento a través de la lengua inglesa dirigida a la comunidad universitaria que ya maneja este idioma para propósitos académicos o vocacionales. Estas charlas están a cargo de expertos representantes de diferentes industrias cuyo testimonio vale la pena compartir. El formato de las sesiones se inclina a una exposición informal y dinámica con duración de alrededor de media hora.

Matt Fleming is an award-winning Art Director and Multimedia Producer with expertise in storytelling with Motion Graphics, 3D, and Video production. He has worked on the films The Amazing Spiderman, Terminator Genisys, and Transformers 4 in addition to countless television shows and national ad campaigns. Matt currently lives in Seattle Washington and is a Senior Design Manager at Microsoft. You can reach Matt at his website www.chromasmith.com.
Tim Ralston is a Professional Project Manager who works with the Boeing Company leading an organization that consistently delivers on projects resulting in the savings to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars a year.
Tim has been managing large scale projects for nearly two decades. His philosophy is clear - work on “cool” projects. Why? Because they are interesting, fun, and IMPORTANT. Working on cool projects has led to a very dynamic career. One that has taken him around the globe, working with many cultures, and supporting a variety of fields such has engineering, sales and marketing, manufacturing and production, and IT.
With years of experience managing projects and being engaged in the process of continuous problem solving, a person develops a confidence that things broken can be fixed, and opportunities identified can be realized. Tim loves to share how successful project management is critical in developing this confidence and the most useful fields of study one can pursue. Tim’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Business, graduate certificates in Project Management from George Washington and Stanford Universities, and is a credentialed PMP.
Tim resides in Seattle Washington, has five children and loves spending time with his family, participating in triathlons, and teaching at Bellevue College.
