FIID TALKS son una plataforma para la difusión de conocimiento a través de la lengua inglesa dirigida a la comunidad universitaria que ya maneja este idioma para propósitos académicos o vocacionales. Estas charlas están a cargo de expertos representantes de diferentes industrias cuyo testimonio vale la pena compartir. El formato de las sesiones se inclina a una exposición informal y dinámica con duración de alrededor de media hora.

Gaetan KashalaGlobal Partnerships at Fullbridge Inc.
Mr. Kashala possesses years of experience spanning corporate, legal, educational, and political sectors. He is currently the Director of Global Partnerships at Fullbridge Inc. with responsibility for developing partnerships in the USA and abroad. A native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gaetan received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and MBA from Boston University's Questrom School of Business Boston. Gaetan is also an advisory board member of the Trustees of Donations for Education in Liberia, a University of Liberia affiliated organization that has been providing support to the school since 1850.
Matt Fleming is an award-winning Art Director and Multimedia Producer with expertise in storytelling with Motion Graphics, 3D, and Video production. He has worked on the films The Amazing Spiderman, Terminator Genisys, and Transformers 4 in addition to countless television shows and national ad campaigns. Matt currently lives in Seattle Washington and is a Senior Video Producer at Oracle. You can reach Matt at his website www.chromasmith.com.
Oscar KashalaUnion for the Rebuilding of Congo
Dr. Kashala is an internationally recognized cancer specialist, businessman, and politician. He is president of the Union for the Rebuilding of Congo, a political party in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) that is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the country. The recipient of many international and national awards, Dr. Kashala has also served in an advisory capacity to several international institutions, including the World Health Organization. He graduated from Kinshasa University Medical School in 1980 and received his doctorate in cancer biology and immunology from Harvard University in 1992. Dr. Kashala is a faculty member at several universities in the DRC, USA, and China.
Scott Fegette is the content manager for LinkedIn Learning’s Audio & Music, Web Design, and User Experience Design training libraries, where he brings his multidisciplinary background to bear setting learning and course strategy for creative professionals worldwide. Graduating from Musician’s Institute in 1990 and still active as a session musician today, Scott has performed and recorded with countless artists over the years. Before coming to LinkedIn/Lynda.com, he served as Adobe’s senior product manager for Dreamweaver, and has spent a parallel lifetime acquiring a variety of skills as a freelancer across a variety of industries including printing, engineering, marketing, post-production & special effects, design, photography, and extreme sports. Scott currently lives with his son Devin on the coastline of Carpinteria, California, and spends his free time building and racing quadcopters.
Tim Ralston is a Professional Project Manager who works with the Boeing Company leading an organization that consistently delivers on projects resulting in the savings to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars a year.
Tim has been managing large scale projects for nearly two decades. His philosophy is clear - work on “cool” projects. Why? Because they are interesting, fun, and IMPORTANT. Working on cool projects has led to a very dynamic career. One that has taken him around the globe, working with many cultures, and supporting a variety of fields such has engineering, sales and marketing, manufacturing and production, and IT.
With years of experience managing projects and being engaged in the process of continuous problem solving, a person develops a confidence that things broken can be fixed, and opportunities identified can be realized. Tim loves to share how successful project management is critical in developing this confidence and the most useful fields of study one can pursue.
Tim’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Business, graduate certificates in Project Management from George Washington and Stanford Universities, and is a credentialed PMP.
Tim resides in Seattle Washington, has five children and loves spending time with his family, participating in triathlons, and teaching at Bellevue College.
Originally from Adelaide, South Australia, Rohan is a seasoned veteran of Silicon Valley with deep experience in technology development and management.
Currently at Google, Rohan oversees the online payments ecosystem and specializes maximizing the results emerging from complex global relationships.
In addition, Rohan serves as an ongoing new product development advisor to UC Berkeley and maintains close ties to UC Berkeley’s Center for Executive Education.
